Tetsurō and Maetel learned about the scientists' efforts to protect energy on Planet Ener.
The Galaxy Express 999 heads toward the beautifully shining Earth. Seeing the Japanese archipelago glowing at night, more brilliantly than any other planet they've visited, Tetsurō cannot hide his surprise at how electricity is used there. While reflecting on all the various planets they have seen, Tetsurō begins to develop a certain feeling.
