Episode 03 “Uchū ni Saku Hana”

The express train Alta 637 becomes stranded due to the influence of drifting space seed groups. The Sirius platoon rushes to rescue them but struggles against the overwhelming numbers. Just as new seed groups are about to reach Train 637 and the Big One, a single beam is fired at them. The newest vehicle “Hiryū” of the newly formed Cepheus platoon saves the Big One from this crisis. The Cepheus platoon provides precise support to the Sirius platoon, but the seeds that enter the train transform into plant-based life forms and begin to erode the train's coaches. On top of that, passengers, including Manabu, are still inside the train.
