Episode 24 “Moeru Ginga”

Each SDF unit heads to guard key facilities in response to enemy force deployment. The SPG also moves to annihilate the enemy forces but is wiped out in front of the overwhelming power of the enemy fleet. The Spica platoon, heading to guard the Haroom orbital branch point, witnesses the already destroyed branch point and SPG vehicles. The Spica platoon finds an SPG recording capsule emitting an SDF signal from among the wreckage of the destroyed SPG vehicles. It contained enemy communications intercepted along with a message from SPG Captain Johanson. The content was the enemy forces' attack order. The targets are the Galaxy Railways and Planet Destiny. And now, the enemy forces begin to advance…
