Summary
Two days before convergence, the Yamato returns to the solar system, where Saitō, hoping to stop by the 11th planet, starts a fight with the crew. Kodai issues a compassionate order for exploration, but the 11th planet has already fallen to the fleet of Valsey. The Yamato, heading to the rescue, suffers major damage to its hull but manages to recover Saitō's aircraft and annihilates the enemy supply base with the wave motion gun. The Yamato warps, colliding with an enemy reconnaissance aircraft, and joins the Earth defense fleet in Saturn's orbit.
