Summary
Twenty days after leaving Planet Barus, the Yamato determines the N8081 star system, 12,000 light-years from Earth, unsuitable for migration. It then comes under attack from subspace torpedoes fired by Colonel Flakken's dimensional submarine, known as “the Galman Wolf” in the Galman Empire. Following Domon's suggestion after he accidentally spots a periscope, the Yamato decides to warp to observe the enemy's reaction.
