Summary
Three days before the Yamato's launch, Aihara falls in love at first sight with a woman he meets at the Southern Cross Island airport, without even learning her name. After Aihara reports to the Yamato, a Galman ship pursuing an enemy fleet strays into Earth's atmosphere. The Yamato's torpedo bomber squadron shoots it down, but Captain Kodai, convinced that an interstellar war is occurring near the solar system, gives all crew members an opportunity to choose. Aihara, unable to forget the woman, makes his decision…
