Summary
Shortly after communications officer Aihara is diagnosed with mental fatigue by Dr. Sado, communication with Earth becomes possible. In front of the crew, Captain Okita communicates with the Commander-in-Chief. He reports that the Yamato's voyage is progressing well. The Commander confirms that Earth has become safer with no more attacks, and they acknowledge each other's efforts. However, Aihara expresses concern about the voyage and Earth's peril…
